Practicing The Consciousness of God’s Presence

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11. Those that practice the consciousness of God cannot live in sorrow. …in thy presence is fullness of joy. They will have constant joy in the midst of contradiction. Dwelling in His consciousness gives access to the pleasures of God.

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

Meditating On The Personality of The Believer

Meditate on this and give God thanks

  • God’s elect: When God chose Jacob, He worked out his success in life by Himself. He went ahead of him to Laban’s house to prepare his wives for him, and to give him wealth. The same Jacob that had no time to take any of his possessions from his father’s house when he ran to escape Esau’s wrath, returned from Laban’s house with abundant blessings. Just like Jacob, you have been chosen and elected by God. The same God that worked out success for Jacob is your God and He will do even more for you because of your better covenant relationship with Him. You cannot be voted out of eternal redemption because God has chosen you. You are therefore entitled to all the benefits of grace. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light, 1Pet 2:9.
  • Justified: No accusation can stand against you because God has wiped away your past and given you a brand new life. Now you live just like you never had any sin. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him, Rom 5:9. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified, Rom 8:30. After Paul’s salvation and justification, no one could bring any charge against him anymore, because his past sins were completely washed away. Just like Paul, you appear before God just like you never committed any sin. You are a brand new creature. Old things are gone forever and all things have become new (2Corinthians 5:17).
